Fine Arts is...
Fine Arts Festival is a discipleship tool of national youth ministries designed to "help students discover and develop their ministry gifts."

Beginning in September each year, over 70,000 junior and senior high school students begin preparing their entries for the District and National Fine Arts Festivals. Students may enter as many as 55 categories offered in 7 main divisions; Art Division, Communication Division, Drama Division, Exhibition Division, Instrumental Division, Vocal Division, and Writing Division.

Vision for Christian Life Church Fine Arts Program…
To motivate teens to service in the body of Christ through the development of their gifts and placement in ministry.

History…
Over the years a number of teens from Christian Life Church have participated in the Fine Arts Festival. However, in 2006, it was decided to formalize the program into an effective and creative discipleship tool for teens. In addition to rigorous practices, all teens are required to faithfully attend CLC and to be involved in a ministry within the church. Currently, we have teens serving in nursery, children's ministry, kitchen ministry, multimedia, and worship ministry.

Since 2005, 52 teens have advanced to the National Fine Arts Festival, comprising 54 group and individual entries in 14 different categories including drama, human video, puppets, creative writing, short sermon, music, visual art, and photography. We’ve had 7 top ten finishes and 2 National Award of Merit Recipients!

This year (2010 Season), with nearly 30 teens participating in over 20 entries, we are very excited about the potential of our teens to grow in their ministry gifts and welcome any interested teen to participate. It is an experience you will remember for the rest of your life!
